Instead of going home to Winfield on Monday May 25, I swung up to Emporia to watch my little brother play in the Kansas State boys 5A golf tournament. I was in NW Arkansas before this so it was a little out of my way but worth it to see Jeff play on Tuesday. He did amazingly, even though he will say he could have done better, he shot 6 over par and had an eagle on the very last hole! He came in 31st place which was dissappointing for him b/c he wanted to be in the top 20. There were 96 golfers so 31st is great in my book! Here are some pictures of it.

High School boys 5A golf
Just a small taste
Megan shot this video while on the boat. It gives you just a taste of what it is like on the boat, the video is good but doesn't do it justice b/c it is only about 30 seconds. So many people having such a great time, soaking up the sun and listening to great music. Now you know why I love it so much!
Memorial Day Extravagaza!
So I hope to get caught up on blogging today, but no promises :) Here are pictures from Memorial day weekend at Beaver Lake. I had so much fun and can't wait for next year! My friends Kate & Dan, they went to optometry school with me, have an amazing house right on Beaver lake in Rogers, AR. It seems so surreal that I have friends that have a house like that. This year they threw a wedding shower for 2 other optometry school friends, Erin & Nick. I think there was only a handful of people that were not from optometry school, but lucky for them there wasn't much shop talk. Enjoy the pictures!

Brothers! (Jake, Sam & Nick, groom to be)

Luke driving the boat with Aunt Jules. He loves the boat! Such a water baby. He didn't even care that the water was a little cold he was getting in and splashing around and loving it!

Waiting out the rain - which was a bit of a blessing b/c we all would have been really sunburned if we would have been in the sun any longer
